of Goa from 6th to 8th December 2024

Awards: The Waves International Short Film Festival 2.0 (WISFF) offers a total of 39 awards worth over Rs. 5 lakhs + Trophies. This includes 18 awards for the 60-hour film challenge and 21 awards in the open category.
The festival will host the fourth edition of the 60-hour film challenge, which was previously limited to Goa but now expands to the national level. This expansion allows local filmmakers to compete with national talent and gain exposure to the execution of short film making. The 60-hour film challenge provides a unique opportunity for filmmakers to showcase their creativity and skills under tight time constraints. By including a national-level competition, WISFF offers a platform for filmmakers from across the country to come together, network, and learn from each other. This exposure can lead to future collaborations and growth in the short film industry.
